DDK – making connections anywhere to anyone or anything accuracy everywhere

Iridium’s cross-linked mesh architecture creates a web of coverage encompassing 100% of the planet from Low-Earth Orbit (LEO).

Low-Earth Orbit provides low-latency, weather resilient services unlike any other satellite provider. No other network matches the reach, coverage, and reliability of Iridium. At only 780 kilometers from the Earth, Iridium’s Low-Earth Orbit network means pole-to-pole coverage, shorter transmission paths, stronger signals, lower latency, and shorter registration time than with Geostationary satellites.

In space, each Iridium satellite is linked to up to four others creating a dynamic network that routes traffic among satellites to ensure global coverage, even where traditional networks are unavailable.

DDK Positioning – Providing Accuracy Everywhere

We have developed the only GNSS Precise Point Positioning (PPP) service that is delivered over the Iridium Burst service, providing our clients with a truly robust and resilient positioning solution. Discover more about the Iridium advantage below

The Iridium Advantage

Iridium Burst delivers data to an unlimited number of enabled devices
within a targeted geographic region.

Global Reach

Iridium's global network delivers the Iridium Burst service anywhere on the planet.

Small, Lightweight, Low Power Technology

Iridium Burst service receivers are small, light, and meet many environmental standards.

Quick Delivery

Transmits highly actionable, customer-specific information in near real-time.

Ease of Use

The ability to send one transmission to thousands of devices simplifies the management of message delivery, especially to high device-density locations.

Stealth Mode

Iridium Burst-enabled devices can be configured as receive-only so that no transmissions are made, a feature valued highly by some customer segments.

Data Format

Iridium Burst can transmit data in any format desired.

Powerful Transmission

High-powered satellite transmissions penetrate buildings, partial obstructions and weather phenomenon to reach enabled devices.

Secure Communications

Customer-defined closed user groups ensure that only authorized devices may see the data received.
